Pin Mill
This photo was taken in May 2004 at Pin Mill on the banks of the River Orwell.
More importantly, the white building is the 'Butt and Oyster Inn', one of my favourite pubs!
This picturesque inn was first granted a licence during the 16th Century, and thank goodness Suffolk County Council have continued to grant a licence ever since!
Rumours abound about its connections with smugglers in the past and another claim to fame is the fact that the BBC TV series "Lovejoy" also did some filming at the Butt and Oyster. (The Butt is another name for the Fluke, a flat fish)
Location: Pin Mill, River Orwell, Suffolk.
